The Budget Law 2021 introduced the Chef Bonus, provided for professional chefs, whether employees or registered for VAT, for the purchase of work tools or to spend on professional updating.
The Chef Bonus 2021 can reach up to €6,000 to cover up to 40% of the expenses incurred by chefs for the purchase of work tools or for the attendance at updating or professional training courses that are judged to be “strictly functional to the practice of the profession”.
These expenses must be incurred between 1 January and 30 June 2021.
